ICRH Project
After doing the ICRH client project I've learned how serious the homeless population is in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. It's sad to hear these stores of CMU graduates, families, children, and just your average men and women being homeless. It is hard to heard about the struggles they go through each and every day just to get the simple things in life that the average person takes for granted on a daily basis. For example, taking a shower. We all do it, every day as part of our routine yet we have people getting into dirty ponds to try to keep themselves "clean". This project has been a tough yet great experience I think for everyone working on the ICRH project. It shows us different perspectives on people and life in general. I'm very happy and grateful that I was able to contribute to this project because I believe homelessness is something that needs to brought to peoples attentions and all these people need a warm place to stay, especially when the weather gets unbearable.
